COVID-19 Emergency Response

Extended Learning & Development

Summer Starts Now!!!

Our ELD Summer Program is inclusion-based. Siblings are welcomed.

Fun filled, yet focused on academic, social, and personal skill development,

with daily recreational, cultural, and exploratory opportunities, and surprise visits

from a few hometown heroes. For kids of all ages.

As local and state leaders attempt to get our community moving again, our community has largely returned to work. However,  many summer programs remain closed. We have heard from those we serve that this creates a bit of a hardship. In response to the need, Autism Charlotte operates Extended Learning & Development - Summer, for children with autism (grades K-12) and their siblings. The program operates:

Dates: May 18, 2020 - August 14, 2020

Days: Monday - Friday

Times: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Location: 2541 Elkwood Circle, Charlotte, NC 28205 (Near Garinger High School)

Due to the current state of crisis, we are offering the service at a special COVID-19 Emergency Response Rate of just $85 per child, per week. This is more than a 50% reduction in our normal summer tuition rate. Therefore we are unable to extend any additional scholarships or discounts.

We know there are lots of questions related to operations, health, and safety. To answer those questions, we conduct ongoing information sessions and offer onsite tours during non-operational hours. To receive an invite to one of these sessions, please email us at

Our capacity is limited to 15. The registration process is now open and assessible via the link below. Please note that registrations are considered on a first come first serve basis and is the start of the application process. There is no registration fee. Just pay the 1st week's tuition to move on to the application phase.  Please also note that there are no refunds, unless we are able to serve your child.
